Wellington Woods is an outdoor wedding venue nestled in Norfolk, boasting 70 acres of private wildflower meadows and ancient woodlands. It’s the perfect setting for dreamers: an eco-friendly, exclusive-use venue with so much already there to create your perfect day.
With such an amazing venue, we had the perfect opportunity to achieve something truly creative and enchanting!
I was really lucky and got to work with some amazing suppliers who are all so talented at what they do – every element was thought out to fit the style and desired outcome of a romantic, mystical woodland wedding.
I wanted to create elegant wedding invitations to reflect the beautiful, wild woodland at Wellington Woods. To do this, I used vellum paper and hand-painted botanical and woodland scenes to achieve the fairy-tale feel I was looking for. Along with the invites, I also created a wedding menu, RSVP, bespoke illustrated map, a details card, belly band and playful ‘say yes’ cards. I carefully chose soft moss greens for the wedding invitations to reflect the natural woodland background for this exciting shoot.
We were also able to include beautiful furniture, incredible flowers and lovely food into our shoot – the effects were magical and the photography captured was truly wonderful. Together, it all tied into the beautiful work of the other suppliers, perfectly complementing the theme of the shoot!
